From Finance to Festivals: My career path has been anything but traditional. From the world of finance, to managing Europe's largest sports trade show but I've always had a deep love for music. In 2003, I founded Mixclub.co.uk, a platform for DJs to share their mixes like Soundcloud. It was fairly successful and a couple of years later I sold it. Unfortunately its now closed but 20 years later, life took an unexpected turn, and after coming out of an relationship and being in a bad place, I found solace in music. A friend gave me a DJ mixer, and within five months, I was performing at a festival. After playing for Utopia I took a residency with them, I had and created audio-live. Since then I've played some great events such as opening Gravity, Good Vibration Society, St James Park stadium, Nebula - Tulum, Aures-London, Binks Yard - Nottingham and Basement 45. Through these experiences, I recognized a gap in the DJ training market. Many courses are expensive, but even the good ones lacked a crucial element – guidance on what to do after learning to mix. That's why I created PRO-DJ.CO.UK. We offer comprehensive training that goes beyond mixing, equipping aspiring DJs with the marketing, business, and industry knowledge needed to build a successful career.
