The Boring Bit

 

Eligibility: All aspiring DJs are eligible to participate.

Mix Submission:

Mixes must be a maximum of 20 minimum in length and max of 30 mins.

Video Submission:

A video of the DJ mixing the submitted mix must be provided.

The video must clearly show the DJ’s hands on the decks throughout the mix.

No  synced mixes are allowed.

The video must be submitted in a compatible video format. Mixes must be submitted in MP4 or AVI

Mix Originality:

The submitted mix must not have been played at any public event or competition prior to the submission deadline.

Judging Criteria

Technical Skill: Beatmatching, mixing techniques, and overall technical proficiency.

Musical Selection: Creativity in track selection and genre blending.

Performance: Stage presence, energy, and crowd engagement (as demonstrated in the video).

Originality: Unique style and approach to DJing.

Judge’s Decision

The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
